AIR PLUS EXCURSION PERFORMANCE DSP series, or we also say "it will never get simpler", offers an almost unlimited bandwidth with all common DSP functions and with lightning-fast access and all at the highest level to implement each of your goals in your most private of all rooms. PX AP8 is the building block that should be found in every concept at any time or can be added to all concepts at any time. We are not calling for a turning point, but the PX AP8 has the ambitions and capabilities to achieve a lot for the classic consumer in the future and to give them an absolute professional tool in their hands. Equipped with RCA inputs and outputs, a plug-in power connection and a reset button, the PX AP8 cannot be surpassed in terms of clarity and is only the size of a hand. Equipped with the most modern AKM chips in 96KHz/32 bit sampling, it is on par with the largest processors on the market and for a fraction of bugs what is usually requested. The intuitive and clearly designed APP software allows for an almost casual ease of use and offers 6 memory presets for free configuration. With 8 channels, it serves up to 3-way fully active systems with subwofer/center or, when used channel-separately with 2 PX AP8 units, it can control even the most complex audio concepts at any time up to 16 channels and even that wouldn't be the limit. However, it remains so affordable that in principle it should be included when purchasing any 4-channel power amplifier already, simply because the value of just a timing correction for the speakers justifies the investment and can turn CAR into HOME.
For EXCURSION, a PX AP8 was the missing component and the reason why we don't have any DSP amplifiers in our range yet. With the exception of a successor to our successful PXA P6, this will continue to be the case. With probably two of the most extensive car audio amplifier series in its range, EXCURSION now offers a number of active configuration options with the PX AP8 and 14 different HXA amplifier models and 14 different SXA amplifier models, which will make every theoretical lottery chance jealous and, as usual, with a Smile at the price/performance comparison.
We owe the fact that we were able to overcome this hurdle not at least to the collaboration with our sister brand µ-Dimension Europe and their experience. As a so-called collaborative crossover product, there is another configuration universe with the EL AP8 under their ELEMENT series and with 10 different ELA amplifier models.
